Getting to Cambridge – Airports
London Stansted
The closest major airport to Cambridge is London Stansted, which is well served by airlines flying to European destinations. Stansted is 25 miles away (approximately 30 minutes by train and 60 minutes by car or coach). For flight information, please visit the London Stansted website or contact the airlines directly. There is a railway station inside the terminal at Stansted (a direct train to Cambridge will take 35 minutes) and you will find National Express coaches, which run from London Stansted to Cambridge.
London Luton
Luton operates flights to a wide-range of UK and European destinations. Luton is 40 miles from Cambridge (approximately 90 minutes by car or coach). There are no direct train connections from Luton airport to Cambridge, however, there are services to central London stations where you will be able to connect to a Cambridge service. You will also find direct National Express coach services operating between London Luton to Cambridge.
London Heathrow
